By: Matthew Hester LAKE CHARLES, LA (JULY 14, 2010) – Following the conclusion of Sunday’s Championship Game between the Columbus Lions and the Louisiana Swashbucklers, the Southern Indoor Football League will be holding its Summer Conference on the subsequent day Monday July 19th. On the agenda for the summer conference is a brief season review and award presentation for players and organizations for stellar play during the regular and post-season’s. Time will be allotted during the gathering to talk about expansion, as a number of potential ownership groups are expected join in on the meetings. Among many of the best topics on the agenda is a session designed for idea swapping, which allows personnel from all clubs to discuss marketing techniques that have either been successful for one another in the past. “For the league to continue to grow, we feel it’s best to review the elements as they’re fresh in our minds,” says Southern Indoor Football League President Thom Hager. “This league was designed to help individual teams to continue to prosper as well as the league. Having meetings while things are fresh on your mind are necessary for continuous growth.” The 2010 Summer Conference will begin the day after the SIFL Championship Game on Monday July 19th inside the Columbus Civic Center.
